CAN BRUIXA Building

This project stands on a rectangular site between the two very deep walls of the neighboring buildings. The residential apartments are arranged like a fan in order to improve the spatial quality of the entrance and the apartment interiors and orientation. The rooms that are required to have orthogonal lines retain them, while the adjoining rooms have non-parallel sides that enhance the visual effects and the continuity of the spaces. This arrangement is not directly evident on the exterior, where considerable attention is paid to the plane of the facade. A double facade wall meets the internal and external requirements which are often contradictory. Large hollows group openings of the living room and give rise to a change in proportions that maches the rhythmical composition of the windows.
