Biomedical Research Park

This building completes the complex of research centers attached to the Hopital del Mar. Located on a seafront noted for its large number of singular tower blocks, this low-rise, long building is in the elliptical shape of a trucated cone. It stands on a platform on which all entrances converge and which, higher up, serves as a central courtyard that looks out to sea. Wooden slats clad the entire ellipse, accentuating its form.
