CCCB – Centre de Cultura Contemporànea de Barcelona

It was decided to preserve the character and structure of the Pati de les Dones, provided by the U-Shaped existing building. The intervention was restricted to closing the patio with the building that contains all vertical communications and to creating a large entrance hall beneath the Pati de les Dones. The new sections forma an L-shaped body that fits into the spaces that had remained empty.
